I make Google Forms for all of my students to meet individual needs. Here are some practice Google Forms on order of operations, a fundamental concept that spills over into a multitude of topics on the ACT & SAT:
SAT & ACT Tutoring
I do a lot of prep work before I meet with students. This can be hours of prep work sometimes when I am creating extra material (practice, quizzes, & tests), especially SAT content that I tailor to the student I am working with based on their needs! I have made 10+ practice tests on Google Classroom/Forms so students can take multiple practice tests leading up to the SAT. Practicing questions is what gets you the score you want, not relearning and studying various topics one week and forgetting the material the next week.
SAT Content Examples:
SAT Vocab Quizzes: Fill In Blank vs. MCQ's
SAT Vocabulary Quiz (S words)
SAT Vocabulary Quiz (T words)
SAT Vocabulary Quiz (U words)
SAT Vocabulary Quiz (D words)
SAT Vocabulary Quiz (Y words)
SAT Vocabulary Quiz 14
SAT Vocabulary Quiz 50

SAT Math Homework 2
SAT Math Subject Practice Test
While I still make multiple choice question exams since this is the format they are tested on on the SAT, I have found that students retain information (i.e. study more effectively for the long-term). They are forced to produce the information rather than given a choice.
The difference between my tutoring service and others is that I make personalized content based on the materials you give me. In addition, I make myself available for my students outside of our tutoring sessions. That means I provide additional resources (free e-books that I own, extra practice, my repertoire of websites, etc.) and allow my students to call me, text me, or email me with questions at any time before midnight each night (or later on test nights).
In order to facilitate additional help from my home to yours when I am not tutoring your son or daughter, I use an app called "Tiny Scanner" which allows us to send PDF files (instead of 10+ individual pictures) back & forth via email with whatever we're working on.
Below are a few examples of two different students who needed help the night before an exam for precalculus and I was able to send them detailed work on precalculus trig identities so they would understand them for their exam the following day.
Handwriting was not my focus when I was trying to get these solutions to them as quick as possible. Time is of the essence during exams so I will get back to my students right away when I know they're studying for quizzes & exams or need help on projects!
I'm a huge believer in muscle memory for long-term memory. I've been able to learn two other languages independently and I love to share my learning strategies and apply them to the SAT. The SAT is another language and an exam that students need to train their brains for on a DAILY basis.
Students in other countries begin studying for the SAT on day 1 of high school but yet most families have their students take a prep course for thousands of dollars the semester before their exam date. If you're a parent with a sophomore in high school, consider having them tutored the summer after sophomore year, they will study SIGNIFICANTLY better without heavy course loads and extracurricular activities when they do take a commercialized testing program like Kaplan.
